Who Pays For What?

Who Pays For What?

Let’s talk budget… Financials are not always the easiest of topics to deal with while planning your wedding. For some it can be a difficult conversation to have.  Your wedding budget affects all of your wedding choices.  That is why it is an absolute must to establish a budget from the get go. It is also important to decide who will be financially contributing to the wedding and how much. Get organized and do your research! Having done your research you will have some guide prices to work towards and you can start thinking about how much you want to spend. This is when prioritising the most important elements of your wedding becomes crucial, as you may want to allocate more money to certain areas.  It is safe to say that the majority of your budget will go towards the reception, this includes venue, food, drinks and entertainment. *How much can you afford to spend? *How much are you willing to spend? *Who’s contributing? How much? *What all is included in your budget? (are certain things being gifted) *What areas are the most important to you? Prioritizing your spending can prove to be beneficial. Keep in mind that smaller weddings can be less expensive,  while more formal weddings tend to be larger making it more expensive. Whatever the case may be for your day, grab a pencil, paper, calculator and get started. Figure out what you really want and what you can afford.
