2017 Montana Wildflower Open Barn

2017 Montana Wildflower Open Barn

This years Open Barn was truly an amazing event. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our venue and made this beautiful day so incredibly special. The idea behind our Open Barn event is to showcase the venue by creating different visuals with various styles, bringing to life the possibilities for brides to envision their day. We displayed several seating areas with beautiful pieces from our Modvintique Rental Collection, an antipasto snack bar, and appearances from several of our preferred venders. While sipping on mimosas, guests were able to stroll around the property and take in the gorgeous views of the surrounding Beartooth Mountains and lush, green fields. Rock Creek Floral did the gorgeous floral arrangements, perfectly accenting our new macramé collection by Amber with Coy Jewelry, one of our favorite new additions. 2nd Chance Creek baked an incredible array of homemade pies, as well as her delicately hand-crafted, one of a kind cookies. And yes, they taste as good as they look! To help bring even more styled elegance to the venue, Penned Designs brought her talent, with unique and one of a kind gorgeous calligraphy To capture all of the stunning details , the incredible April Sky Photography photographed our event. Her photos perfectly captured the ambiance of this year’s Open Barn; full of light and love. We are truly humbled to help collaborate and make each wedding day as special and unique as the couple themselves. Thank you, to all of our brides and grooms, for letting us help make your dream day all that it’s meant to be and more.   Thank you again to all our vendors and staff,...

They are based in the U.S. but available to travel almost anywhere, including here to Red Lodge at Montana Wildflower. Their talent, style, and eye captures more than just a wedding, but truly focuses on the intimate details and emotion in a couple’s special day. Her images are breathtaking, captivating and priceless and we could stare at them all day. Sarah writes ” We have spent the first 5 years of our career traveling from coast to coast photographing beautiful weddings but we are now setting our sights on slowing down and working exclusively in the mountain west. We fell in love with Montana a few years ago while shooting a portrait session in Paradise Valley and exploring the area. The simple and quiet way of life here ( and the utter beauty) spoke to our souls and we immediately knew we were home!” Sarah, you are such a dream. “We are passionate about documenting the authentic love stories and connections of the sweet souls behind our cameras. On a wedding day it may mean capturing those little in between moments where your dad is quietly wiping away tears as he gives you to your groom, or the hidden squeeze your grandmother gives your mom when she sees you in your dress for the first time, or the joy on your groom’s face when he lights up after seeing you for the first time in your wedding dress. Those are the little...

Open Barn 2016

Open Barn 2016

Open barn took place on Sunday, June 12th from 1-4 pm and we could not have asked for a more perfect day of sunshine and gorgeous weather. We showcased the additions to our Modvintique rental collection, with staged seating areas inside of the tent, along with ceremony areas set up on the grounds using our standard white chairs and farm benches. We featured our new birch tree arch and our new end tables that have a variety of uses including candle lighting and memorial tables.  All of our new seating sets were displayed including our gold and glass sets and our new lounging chairs and sofas. The barn was set with our farm table and bench collection, decorated with festoon lights.   Modvintique was open to walk through so that all of the new collection could be seen and we had our hanging barn door swing in trees with fabric drapery and a hanging chandelier. We also included candle trees with hanging votives above eclectic chairs in the grass.   For floral we worked with Jenny Roberts and Chelsea Brusker a darling mother-daughter duo from Columbus who do amazing work. Jenny (406-321-1324) and Chelsea (406-321-4172) They elegantly set up floral displays on many of the items and tables for a beautiful example of what an actual wedding day were to look like. we were able to have floral displays on almost everything including fabric drapery tie backs, lanterns, hanging swings, variety of vases on tables throughout,  the birch tree arch, entry tables , farm to table table, and the dessert table.
