Greg + Olivia

We are thrilled to be sharing one of our gorgeous couples of 2017 – Greg and Olivia. The two met in Milwaukee, WI through mutual friends the summer of 2012. Greg was attending Dental school and Olivia was attending Fashion Design school. What was a simple introduction, turned into a perfect love story. That summer soon turned into one that they will never forget. Filled with hiking, boating, fishing and lots of dinner dates they quickly fell in love. After graduating school, the two moved to Montana together. As Red Lodge slowly became their new home, their commitment continued to grow. Greg had a plan, and he wanted it to be perfect. On a beautiful September day, Greg took Olivia on a hike to watch the sunset. Little did she know that night was going to be the best day of her life, a day they both would never forget. Now, almost 4 years later the two have decided to say I do. We are honored to be a part of Greg and Olivia’s wedding On July 29, 2017 here at Montana Wildflower Weddings, the beginning of a beautiful commitment and lifelong adventure together.    ...

Scott + Emily

On the most gorgeous of sunny summer days,  Emily and Scott became one on June 26, 2016 with their closest family and friends surrounding them in an intimate and perfect day of celebration. Emily and Scott chose to wed in front of the boat dock with the mountains as the backdrop to their ceremony. They used our birch tree arch with sheer white drapery and gorgeous cascading floral done by the amazing Mac’s Floral from Billings.   The reception was held inside the barn with our barnwood farm tables and white chairs. Simple floral centerpieces, gold taper holders and candles decorated the tables for an elegant but fresh look. Sheer curtains draped the open barn doors for a beautiful backdrop behind the seated wedding party.   Mac’s floral executed unbelievably gorgeous floral bouquets for Emily and her maids that perfectly accented their bright magenta dresses and tied in the rich navy of the groomsmen suits. Randall Finch Photography captured gorgeous moments of both the Father of the Bride’s reaction to his daughter and the special moment of Emily and Scott’s first look behind the barn. Emily wore a stunning gown from Belle en Blanc. The moments of this gorgeous wedding were beautifully captured in these photos that, once again, make us honored to share in the specialist of days for these amazing people and their friends and family. The rest of the night was spent dancing away in celebration for this beautiful couple. The groom’s aunt made their beautiful wedding cake and Top Notch Catering served a delicious meal with Montana Jacks tending the bar. Austin Reyher from Bozeman as...

Hayley + Danny

In one of the most gorgeous weddings we’ve ever seen at Montana Wildflower, high school sweethearts Hayley and Danny said ‘I do’ on a perfect and utterly flawless August afternoon. After 5 and a half years of dating Danny proposed to Hayley at her grandparents ranch “It was just after Christmas” she said ” and we decided to go sledding. In the middle of it he took me up to a sandstone rock formation that was a huge part of my childhood. We had all carved our names in the rocks and he took me to a spot where he had carved “Marry Me?” into the side of one of the rocks and got down on one knee. It was so simple and perfect!” Hayley was more than a dream bride when it came to the planning process and days leading up to their wedding. She wanted something unique, different from the typical bride + wedding, calling herself an “off beat bride.” With the intricate and stunning details designed by North Sage Events, the arrangements and bouquets by Macs Floral, beautifully hand scripted lettering by Cast Calligraphy and the breathtaking film photography by Jeremiah and Rachel photography – this country-bohemian wedding came to life in a way almost too spectacular for words. Having been featured on Style Me Pretty and Green Wedding Shoes – we are so honored to have been the venue for such a gorgeous day. The ceremony was simple yet stunning with a wooden cross adorned with a gorgeous floral arrangement that stood behind them during their vows. Handwritten signs and programs added a nice touch to...

Kate and Michael

So excited to be sharing this darling soon to be bride and groom who will be making Montana Wildflower Weddings their place to say I do this fall. 2000 miles across the country from Georgia to Montana, career relocations, and months of long distance couldn’t stop this couple from deciding on forever. When the two met at a super bowl party in 2013 it was love at first sight for Michael who was swept away by Kate the moment he saw her. Although the spark between them wasn’t instantly ignited – a few months later and a set of Rascal Flatts tickets lead this couple to an unintentional + surprising first date. While the two then spent the next year and a half traveling back and forth to see one another, their love grew stronger and deeper than the miles that physically separated them. In August of 2015 they were finally able to both call Montana home. On a special planned getaway to Glacier National Park, Michael had planned to ask Kate to be his wife. Kate had always teased that if Michael wanted to propose to her that it better involve a puppy. As the two hiked to Avalanche Lake, Michael found a perfect spot with a breathtaking view along a secluded area of beach. He pulled out a stuffed puppy to give her and there, on a cold and rainy day – just the two of them, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Kate and Michael will be saying I do here on September 17 in a gorgeous ceremony that we can’t wait...

Seth and Kaci

On an absolutely gorgeous September afternoon, Seth and Kaci said “I do” in front of their closest friends and family at a wedding that we are sure to remember forever. Every piece of their day was a direct and perfect reflection of this darling couple’s love and style. Their elegant + country-touched wedding was the perfect fit for this cowboy to marry his bride. Each and every feature of this wedding incorporated something important to the bride and groom, and the sentimental meaning beamed from every detail. Kaci used antique pieces and vintage décor handed down to her from her grandfather while Seth’s grandmother hand-made their beautiful leather inspired cake. With floral arrangements and bouquets done beautifully by the mother of the bride, this wedding truly radiated with love and significance to their loved ones. The centerpieces included burlap table runners with lace inlays and atop that sat hand crafted candles made to look like leather. The couple’s love for another was easily felt and seen the entire day and they ended their perfect night dancing away to live music by The Nye Express band. Montana Wildflower could not have welcomed a more sincere, down to earth, and well mannered group of ladies and gentleman than this wedding held. Congratulations again to you Seth and Kaci, we are so very happy for you.   Caterer: Nancy Klein Bar: Heavy Horse Saloon Live Music: The Nye Express Photographer: Maggie Rain...

Jacob and Kristine

After a dreamy accidental collide at a street dance brought this couple together – we are absolutely thrilled that they have chosen Montana Wildflower Weddings to complete their love story and begin forever. Jacob and Kristine met in the summer of 2013 when she and a friend stopped to enjoy a festival in Bridger and they [literally + physically] ran into one another – inevitably meeting over an apology that lead to a night of dancing. He swooned her with a darling but cheesy pick up line about his smart phone taking her number and his humor & lightheartedness stole her heart. Jacob and Kristine were officially a couple a month later. Jake was eager to make Kristine his wife 2 years later and after his plans to propose were interrupted by a work trip to Great Falls that Kristine was sent on, he decided he would have to find the perfect time on a whim as he joined her on the trip. As Kristine recalls, she just wasn’t “getting the hint” each time Jake suggested something spontaneous + romantic. His first attempt was to propose was on a farm near her grandparent’s house as they drove around sightseeing and sharing her childhood memories. He kept suggesting they get out of the truck but, she missed the hint. The weather stole Jake’s next idea as a late spring snow storm ruined their plans for a day hike to the river on Saturday. As they headed home from their trip they decided to end their long day with seeing a movie, The Longest Ride. On Saturday April 18, 2015 – Jake slipped the...

Tarina and Chad

We would like to introduce you to Tarina and Chad.  They are getting married at Montana Wildflower Weddings this Summer early June. We love hearing how our couples fell in love and got engaged.  Their story is so sweet! Chad and Tarina met on Halloween in 2006. Tarina was a senior in high school working at the local Dairy Queen in Sidney, MT. Chad was working on the pipeline just outside of Sidney. A few of  Tarina’s  friends had said that there was a group of their other friends running around town pulling pranks on everyone. So, when Chad came in (like he had every night for about a month) Tarina, jokingly, asked him if he would sit and “guard” her vehicle. To her surprise, he said yes. He sat outside from about 7:00 PM until she  was off work at 10:30 PM “guarding” her  vehicle. Her  boss had told her that she needed to go out and offer him some ice cream or a pop for sitting there. When she went out with his refill of Mountain Dew, he asked her  what her name was and then shot the cheesiest pickup line ever…”So Tarina, you got a number to go with that name?” Proposal Fast-forward 5 years to July 25, 2011 (her  birthday). They were going to her  parents house 45 miles away for her  birthday dinner.  She just so happened to get home early that evening. Chad wasn’t home, so she called to see where he was because they  were supposed to leave in 30 minutes. He insisted that she go back outside and wait for him to...

Kendra and Josh

Our blushing bride Kendra and her husband Josh made it official and said I do on a gorgeous Fall afternoon this past September. This couple chose pink champagne and navy blue for their colors. Their stadium layout  seating arrangement for their wedding was so unique, leaving so many photo opportunities for their incredible photographer Jessie Blake.  Kendra chose to meet her husband at the end of the isle entering through our beautiful fabric that was hung in our trees, making it an entrance to remember. The isle was decorated with gold wine bottles and white drip candles, creating an elegant romantic vibe. Kendra’s sense of style was portrayed in her dress.  It had this amazing open back, with intricate details in the lace. Josh and his groomsman, decked out in navy blue, complimented the bridesmaids champagne pink dresses just perfectly.  Their decor was soft, yet sophisticated and super elegant. Champagne pink table cloths with navy blue lace runners laid the foundation for her gorgeous centerpieces. Simple vases in different sizes with navy blue and gold ribbon. Some had babies breath  while others had hydrangeas. Large  willow branches were placed in the middle of the centerpieces to create height.   They had their head table locatd in the center of the barn surrounding their guests.  The couple chose to use our beautiful fabric drapery that we hang on the barn doors.  This made for a show stopping entrance to this couple’s reception. After feasting on their Mediterranean salads and gourmet pizza’s catered by a Touch of Country, The couple danced the night away on a dance floor that they had...

Taryn and Levi

Taryn and Levi said I do on a beautiful afternoon in late July.  There wedding was so incredibly beautiful. We were completely smitten with the shades of blush, gold, and ivory accents that made for an extremely romantic vibe. This set a very elegant tone that was captured throughout their whole entire wedding day. Tracy Moore Photography was able to depict their love story so perfectly throughout her images.  The anticipation of what dress Taryn, owner of Belle En Blanc Bridal was going to wear , left guests wondering up until the day she walked down the isle.  She was definitely a show stopper and looked stunning! Her girls all wore different dresses in shades of  blush and taupe, looking beautiful as ever.  Levi and his groomsman, looking dapper in grey, complimented the girls unique dress styles. This wedding party looked gorgeous as they walked to music by the Stillwater Quartet.  Taryn and her father entered the isle through a rustic barn door arch, where she walked to meet Levi at the end of the isle. The couple shared their personal and intimate vows under a crystal chandelier in front of a gorgeous chiffon fabric curtain.  Both signature pieces were designed  by Better To Gather Events, with floral creations by Mac’s Floral. Every detail made this picture perfect wedding, one that we will always remember.  Mac’s Floral designed these beautiful floral arrangements for centerpieces in vintage style vases, which included hydrangeas, white and pink roses and peonies. Some were single stemmed, while others were paired together.  She also created a unique piece that hung from the barn  beam.  Simple, classy,  yet incredibly...

Marisa and William

Meet Marisa and William, one of our  2016 couples who will be getting married next June at Montana Wildflower Weddings. Their love story began with their mothers. They grew up together and eventually became very close friends and have remained close still  to this day.  Will’s mother, Mimi, moved away after high school and Marisa’s mother, Neena, stayed in Miles City, MT.  Just about every summer, Will’s family would come back to Montana to visit family. Will, Marisa, and their siblings would always hang out during these times. Will and Marisa always got along great and became dear friends throughout the years. Their long lasting friendship, was bound to turn into a sweet love story. The Proposal Will spent Christmas 2014 in Miles City with Marisa’s family. He proposed the day after Christmas. It had snowed and Will insisted they take a drive to a recreational area where they both liked to see the red rocks dusted with the snow. As soon as they got there, Marisa knew something was going to happen. He got all nervous and very serious when he got out of the truck, which is unusual for Will. He had a very short and sweet proposal.  He then got down on one knee and opened a small box, to reveal a very beautiful ring that had belonged to his grandmother. Their love story officially began that day. We look forward to getting to know this couple and will continue to follow their new beginning as one through our posts.  Thank you Marissa and William for choosing our venue for your special day! We are so happy to be working with...
