Love Stories

Abby +Hunter

Our story began in January of 2023 when we met at Cassie's in Cody. I was originally from NE Iowa, here for a couple of months for work, and didn't know many people. My roommate and I were out for dinner when one of Hunter's friends started talking to us. We found out that Hunter and my roommate were originally from Wisconsin, literally from towns that were 30 minutes apart. That kick started the conversation that eventually led us to where we are now. Since then,

Now onto the good part. We were in Billings a couple of days before he proposed to me. I naturally had to stop in Ulta to restock the essentials. I was worried I would be in there for a while to find out that the checkout line was nearly wrapped all the way around to the back of the store. I ended up messaging Hunter that it will be a little bit before I'm back out to the truck. I eventually made it back to the truck, and we headed to the Zoo in Billings to see the Christmas lights. I had no clue at the time that Hunter had set this whole thing up with me going into Ulta. Hunter had snuck over to the jewelry store to pick up the ring while I was in Ulta. He was probably relieved to see that I would be stuck in there for a while longer, as the lady was trying to get the proposal idea out of him before he left the store. He told me that he was afraid I'd get back to the truck before him. But Hunter did not propose at the Zoo like I thought. This man actually made me hike up another mountain before he proposed two days later.

We are excited to have a place surrounded by the things we love and cherish most —the outdoors, mountains, and our family. We are looking forward to sharing our lives out here in Wyoming, and the "Wild West," with our families from the Midwest, and Montana Wildflower Weddings is the best place for us to share our love and life with those we love.
