They’ve definitely seen the hand of God in our relationship. When they met, Annemarie was fed up with the male species, but then, in walks a concussed Azakiah, and lo and behold, she’s smitten. Of course, Azakiah didn’t pick up on this fact for 7 months, and asked her out on a date- coffee turned into lunch, and many more dates followed. 

After a couple months, Azakiah knew he wanted to marry Annemarie, but because he was a Jeweler’s apprentice, knew he couldn’t just get away with buying a ring- he had to make it. He then set out over the next six months to develop the skills and make the ring. He proposed on Mother’s Day at Pioneer park and they celebrated with a picnic.

They’re looking forward to being surrounded by their closest friends and family, and the amazing views of the mountains and God’s gift of nature.
