Kacey + Hunter

Kacey and Hunter first met in the early fall of 2022 at Idaho State University. Kacey was attending the university to play basketball, while Hunter was a member of the football team. Their paths crossed when their roommates were being set up by a mutual friend, and the two of them simply tagged along. From the moment they met, they clicked immediately. Although they told everyone they were “just friends,” their connection quickly grew into something more. Before long, they were inseparable, spending hours together walking to the pillars on campus, talking late into the night, play fighting, and sharing quiet moments together. On October 3, 2022, Hunter officially asked Kacey to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of a relationship that continued to grow stronger over time.

Their engagement took place during a special camping trip to their favorite spot in Wyoming. Hunter had secretly invited two of Kacey’s cousins along with his sisters so they could witness the moment. On the first day, June 29th 2025, the couple went out for a ride on a four-wheeler, but Kacey noticed Hunter was driving unusually slow, which seemed out of character and made her wonder what was going on. He eventually stopped beside a beautiful field of wildflowers and asked if she wanted to pick some. As she stepped off the four-wheeler, Hunter got down on one knee and pulled a ring from his pocket. Overwhelmed with excitement, Kacey jumped into his arms and cried tears of joy, forgetting to say yes in the moment. Her cousins and his sisters then ran out from behind the trees where they had been hiding to capture photos and celebrate. Realizing she hadn’t actually answered his question, Kacey quickly said yes, officially beginning the couple’s next chapter together. Not even a four-wheeler accident the following day could ruin such a beautiful moment.

We are most looking forward to getting married on the beautiful landscape looking to the mountains. The venue is the the perfect place for us to celebrate our love with our family and friends.
