Megan+ Cody

Cody and I went to high school together and have known each other since we were probably 14! Although we never dated in high school, we had a lot of mutual friends and crossed paths pretty often. After graduation, we both went to the University of Wyoming, where we made separate friends and ran in different circles for the first couple of years. We would run into each other socially and were always friendly, but it wasn’t until our junior year that we actually got close.

One night, we found each other at a party, and from there, we started seeing each other more and more.. Even though we had known each other for years and were spending a lot of time together, we didn’t officially start dating until November of 2023, but we were basically dating for months before then.

We had a blast together in Laramie, and after graduating, we moved to Lander, Wyoming, in August of 2025. We spent our first year there getting familiar with our new home, exploring the area, and getting outside as much as possible.

In June of 2026, just after I finished my first year of teaching, we went for a hike near Dubois, Wyoming, where Cody proposed! We both love the mountains, being outside, and spending time near the water, so it was perfect. 

Our time together has always felt so natural, so getting married really does feel like the natural next step. We are so excited for our Wildflower Wedding and, more than anything, we are looking forward to having all of the people we love most together in one place, surrounded by flowers and mountains; some of our favorite things!
